3-D Low-Dosage Digital X-Rays
We use a combination of 2D traditional x-rays and 3D cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) machines that provide a 3D rendition of your mouth. 3D dental images are most often used for diagnosis and treatment planning. Being able to see the mouth in three dimensions allows us to better visualize, plan, and treat dental conditions. We use our 3D imaging for cosmetic/restorative cases, root canals, and dental implants.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT FOR OUR PATIENTS?
- Diagnostic Accuracy
- Minimal Radiation Exposure
- Lower Cost
- Short Scan Time
Digital X-rays not only decrease your radiation exposure, they also decrease your waiting time, and increase the amount of information that can be gathered from each image. When needed, the availability of 3-D x-rays allows another level of detail and planning that ensures you are receiving the most thorough and up-to-date care.
